Modern Vocational Training Centre was founded in 1998 by a volunteer group of youths who had acquired technical skills, teaching skills, apprenticeship and no vocational skills at all.
They were inspired by the spirit of voluntarism,search for self employment,the poor condition of the living environment and the despondency of the large number of School drop outs especially those who complete primary seven and secondary for education.
Modern vocational training centre,was conceived to provide the needs of the school drop outs by imparting vocational skills to them.
The School offers the following courses,
