Uganda Catholic Management and Training Institute | UCMTI formerly Uganda Catholic Social Training Center was established in 1969 by the Uganda Episcopal Conference as National Social Training Institute and the Late Pope Paul VI blessed the Institute with the joyful unveiling of its plaque. It is Located on Rubaga Hill opposite the Rubaga Hospital, Uganda Catholic Management and Training Institute was founded by the Grail Community, an international movement of lay – women committed to offering services through various professions in spirit of the Gospel. The Institution was then put under the ownership of the Uganda Episcopal Conference.
From its inception, UCMTI mainly concentrats on a multiplicity of development oriented training programmes with particular emphasis on the youth and women.
Uganda Catholic Management and Training Institute was registered as an NGO with the Ministry of Culture and Community Development in 1970 and in 1990, it was registered under the Education Act as an approved Private Institute of Commercial and Management Development courses.

Mission: Uganda Catholic Management and Training Institute mission is to offer quality training to school leavers and up-graders: clergy, religious and laity; in social, business and vocational competences for employability, entrepreneurship and integral development.
Vision: Uganda Catholic Management and Training Institute vision is provision of excellent knowledge and skills inspired by Catholic values for integral human development.
Objectives:
