Tawhiid Islamic Nursery and Primary School is a mixed day school offering Integrated Education. We offer dual curricula i.e. Secular and Islamic Theology. We also have a Leadership Program based on The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People known as The Leader in Me.

Tawhiid Islamic Nursery and Primary school is acclaimed as one of the leading Islamic institutes in Kampala. We are committed to the cause of imparting quality education so as to develop a whole child.
Rigourous and Broad Education – Our main aim is to develop a child with the self-esteem, dignity and respect for all members of the community.
We achieve this by concentrating on each child’s infinite worth in the eyes of humanity.
Balanced Education – Through the latest technology, innovative teaching and extensive range of extra co–curricular opportunities, pupils can realize their aspirations while developing tolerance and mutual respect.
We cater for all levels of aptitude. Our curriculum structure allows pupils to work at a pace appropriate to their ability along with the support and encouragement that allows them to achieve success.
Secular Program
In the secular curriculum we have the following examinable subjects taught from P.1 – P.7 in two different forms:-
(i) Thematic Curriculum for P.1 – P.3
(ii) Subjects based from P.4 – P.7
The above Subjects are taught according to the syllabus set by the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) in conjunction with the ministry of Education and Sports. These subjects are taught throughout the Primary Cycle and examined by the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) at Primary Seven as the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).
In the Co-curricular we have Physical Education (P.E) and Information and Communication Technology (I.C.T) which are not examinable.
Theology program
In the Islamic Theology, we offer four major subjects: The Holy Quran, Arabic Language(Lugha), Fiqh and Tarbiat. These subjects are taught from Nursery level to P.7 and examinable at National Level.
The Leader in Me program
The program is based on the book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People written by Steven R. Covey.
Even though Co-Curricular Activities fall outside the realm of academics, still they form an integral part of the school curriculum. The school has always nurtured and supported both academics and the co-curricular activities. Apart from developing the psychomotor domain, student centric activities always cater to the need of mental tranquility, socializing as well as pragmatic approach to academics. Fields like Art and Craft, Theatrics and Public Speaking, Environment Club, Scout and Guide Club assist in the formation of character and attitude.
At Tawhiid Islamic Nursery and Primary, we settle for student initiated activities that encompasses everything possible under the sun to hone their skills and to be better human beings.
