St Agnes Primary School is a Catholic founded and it started as a Catechetical school which taught girls Catechism in 1930. later on the white sisters, taught girls reading, arithmetic, writing and housekeeping. They taught the above subjects to girls because they wanted them to learn how to read the bible and be able to count money at their homes. Girls were taught how to cater for their Children and husbands because they were not supposed to have formal Education. In 1960 it became a formal school and it still catered for a girl until 1967 when it became a co-educational school.

At St. Agnes Primary School they aim to offer the pupil a variety of activities both curriculum and extra-curricular to provide a full broad and a balanced curriculum. Core subjects offered are English, Mathematics, Social studies, Science, Art, Music, ICT, Physical education and Religion.

St. Agnes Primary School has craft lessons, where children learn to make baskets, mats, tablecloths, doormats, bags, necklaces, wall mats, sweaters, tie and dye pieces, etc. They also have a lot of sports activities which include; netball, volleyball, athletics, games of low organization for the infants, and all other field events. Sports competition usually occurs among the houses.

St Agnes Primary School has a computer laboratory with 20 computers, a library which allows all pupils to gain access to a range of literature. All these offer pupils a stimulating and bright environment in which to learn.
