Our academic year is divided into three terms: term I, II, and II. Term I usually starts in early February and ends in early April. Term II begins in early May and ends in early August and usually term III starts in early September and ends in early December.

In term III, the pupils are subjected to promotional exams that determine whether they progress to the next classes or are retained at the end of the academic year. The pupils are promoted to the next classes strictly on merit.

Facilities

The library currently has a capacity of more than 3000 books covering all the subjects taught in primary schools and beyond. These subjects include; Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies, Music, Art and Crafts, Physical education, Religious education and Computer Studies.

Sick bay: The school boasts of a fully fledged sickbay that is managed by two qualified Nurses who are on standby to wait for any cases reported to them. They are equipped with essential drugs to handle mostly First Aid and minor injuries. The cases that require a doctor’s attention are referred to Angelina hospital in Namugongo for further management. The school handles tests but any treatment thereafter is footed by the parent.

Computer lab: Our modern computer Laboratory, so far the biggest of its kind among both secondary and primary schools around, has 45 computers and a Projector. Children are brought in the lab at intervals to acquire the computer skill in a bid to attain the 8th MDG. Practical lessons are conducted for classes P.1- P.6. We are in the final stages of the design and development of a School Management Information System (SMIS) and a Local Area Network (LAN).

School buses: The fleet of buses that we have is used to transport day scholars but also hired by the community especially over the weekends for weddings and various occasions.
