Kisa Nursery and Primary School is a private school, founded in 1991 by the Serwanga Family, mainly to educate the children in the family, provide an income and serve the community’s education needs.

Kisa Nursery and Primary School has grown to an enrollment of 419 pupils from Nursery to Primary 7. There are 11 teachers and nine classrooms. 25 of the students are boarders. Fees per term are 21,000 shillings ($8.50) for day scholars and 120,000 shillings ($50) for boarders.

[related_posts]The school faces challenges because it has limited funds although it supplements its income by farming and a canteen. It is in a low-income area, so students have trouble paying the fees and the school receives no government assistance. Kisa Nursery and Primary School would like to launch a website in order to show the work the students do in and outside the classroom and to connect to other schools.
