Kasubi Church of Uganda Primary School was established in 1936 to provide education for the children of servants working at the nearby royal tombs. (The area around Kampala is called Buganda, which still has a king, the kabaka, although his duties are primarily ceremonial today. The former kabakas are buried in tombs in Kasubi).

Kasubi Church of Uganda Primary SchoolKasubi Church of Uganda Primary School was taken over by the Church of Uganda in 1940 and by the government in 1960, with the Church of Uganda remaining as its foundation body. The school has 1,400 students in P1-P7 and 32 teachers.
