Hormisdallen is a privately owned mixed day and boarding, Nursery and Primary school with three branches; Hormisdallen School – Kamwokya, off Mawanda road, Hormisdallen School – Kyebando, off Erisa road and Hormisdallen School – Gayaza, off Bugema road. They are all licensed by the Ministry of Education and Sports of the government of Uganda with each having an examination center approved by UNEB.

Hormisdallen Schools embrace a child-centered philosophy that promotes creative thinking and lifelong learning.

The educators are dedicated to inspiring children to achieve the very highest standards in all their endeavours as they progress their educational journey with us. Through partnerships with parents, we strive to make every academic dream a reality.

Curriculum: English Language, Integrated Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Writing, Reading, Swahili, Luganda, Art and craft, Computer studies.

Birth certificate (duplicate)
passport photographs for child and parent
Immunization card (dup) Nursery – Primary two
Recent report recommendation (Primary three – Primary six)

Facilities

Library: Is equipped with books stocked in different categories’ as per subject that is Science, English, Math and SST Plus story books and news papers.

[related_posts]Events: A number of co- curricular activities are undertaken in the school in order to make learning more interesting to pupils.
Games and Sports help young people to build their talents. That is why Hormisdallen School has got a series of games and sports activities including among others:- Ludo, Chess, Table tennis, Bicycle racing, Volley ball, Netball, Swimming and Football.

Music dance and drama: Pupils are encouraged to participate in music dance and drama in order to develop their talents. The school choir does exist and competitions are held amongst houses, local levels, national levels and international levels.

Scouts and Girl guides: This body exists in Hormisdallen School and it helps pupils to develop social skills to fit society challenges. The school has a well established scout’s body which is responsible for voluntary services.

Debating club: Pupils get involved in the club so as to gain communication skills as this gives confidence in self expression. In Hormisdallen School every child is a member of the club at all levels.
Youth a live club: This club helps to transform the young generation into responsible citizens through loving, sharing, caring and performing tasks together.

Environment club: The school has an environment club whose visions are to help the learners get to know about our environment, how it can be protected and its importance in a given place.

History: Hormisdallen school was founded on 12th Feb 1986, with a total of 9 pupils and 3 teachers by Mr. Mukalazi Kizito who aimed at helping the community and the general public at large to access quality education that is committed to meeting the evolutionary challenges of the day.
