Entebbe Early Learning School is registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports in Uganda. Mrs. Agnes Biryahwaho started the school in 1993 and it is based on Christian principles. As a Director of the school, the plight of the orphans touched her. Most orphans around her could not afford even the most basic education. She therefore brought in some of these children who became the pioneers of the school.

Entebbe Early Learning School has two sections and they include;

Pre-Primary section

The Pre-Primary section has three classes depending upon the age of the child – Baby Class, Middle Class and Upper Class.

The Primary Section is comprised of classes P1 through P7. Each class admits not more than 30 pupils, which guarantees each student optimum teacher attention and guidance.

Curriculum: Entebbe Early Learning School academic structure is based on the syllabus approved by the Uganda Ministry of Sports and Education for Nursery to Primary Seven. The subjects taught are Mathematics, English, Social Studies, and Science for upper Primary students. Entebbe Early Learning School Teachers stay abreast of changes to the Curricular Activity requirements, e.g. the recently-introduced Thematic Programme for the lower Primary students.

Objectives

To bring up children with a firm education and moral foundation which will give them confidence, self discipline and self respect
To develop pupils intellectually, emotionally, morally, physically and above all spiritually
To encourage each child’s natural abilities and to aid children who have difficulties
To provide a safe and a loving atmosphere where children and the staff understand each other.

Co-curricular activities: Entebbe Early Learning School engages their pupils in a variety of sports activities that include football, netball, swimming and other athletic games. Other activities include Girl Guides, Debating Club, Wildlife and Environment Conservation, Writing Competitions, and Municipal Games.

Mission: Entebbe Early Learning School mission is to educate and groom children who will change the future of this nation through love, and who will excel in all areas of their lives.
