Bishop’s Central Primary School was born out of Bishop’s West Primary School in 1975. These two schools, along with Bishop’s East Primary School, are the three schools founded by Bishop Tucker of the Church of Uganda.
[related_posts]Bishop’s Central Primary School is mixed, with 423 girls and 363 boys. It is housed in four classroom blocks containing ten permanent classrooms. There are 16 teachers and government funding in 2007 was 2,152,371 shillings ($1,300). Additional fees totaling 28,000 shillings ($16.50) cover development, furniture, lunch, morning porridge and a contribution to the Church.
