Gordon Full or Partial Fees Studentships for International Students at University of Glasgow in UK, 2017

The University of Glasgow is pleased to offer several full or partial fees-only studentships to study in the UK. Studentships are available to pursue MLitt or the PhD degree programme at the University of Glasgow.

This aim of the program is to increase the proportion of MLitt or the PhD degree programme at the University of Glasgow.

The University of Glasgow is the fourth-oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of Scotland’s four ancient universities. The University’s Hunterian Museum resides in the Main Building, and the related Hunterian Gallery is housed in buildings adjacent to the University Library.

Course Level: Studentships are available to pursue MLitt or the PhD programme.

Study Subject: Studentships are awarded in American Studies.

Scholarship Award: The studentships will cover the cost of the student’s fees up to a maximum of the annual tuition costs for UK and EU students.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for studentships:

Applicants must have held an offer– conditional or unconditional– for either the Taught MLitt or the PhD in American Studies at the University of Glasgow. Check the Andrew Hook Centre for American studies website for further information.

Nationality: Students from the Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda are eligible for the scholarships.

COLLEGE ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.

English language Requirements: Students meet the necessary language proficiency requirements of the host institution.
