Pharmacy School Mulago is a pharmacy training institute located in Kampala the capital city of Uganda. The school offers a number of skills in pharmacological works. Being the best school in Africa, Pharmacy School Mulago is comprised of all national and international students who wish to reach their dream of PHARMACY. A qualified student of Pharmacy School Mulago has ability to dispense drugs to patients, to nurse patients in international health units, to manufacture basic drags, to qualitatively verify the validity of a drug and its biological effort to life.
History: Pharmacy School Mulago evolved as a school of dispensers which was started in 1931 as a post basic course. The first trainees were Medical Assistants currently known as clinical officers. The school has official recognition and gazette by Ministry of Health under Allied Health Training Institution by the council. In 1973, the programme was evaluated for A-Level candidates in take. The programme now purely admits A-Level students as direct entrants who have entry requirements of two principal passes in chemistry and biology obtained at the same sitting.
How to apply: Pharmacy School Mulago applications are filled at the schools for Joint Admissions Board (JAB) at A-level. The private candidates can obtain the forms at JAB offices or at Paramedical Training Schools Head office at a cost. External or foreign students with certified translation of the original documents in English are also provided with these forms. The admission is both Government and private sponsored.

Field experience: These are mandatory and trainees must complete field attachments and assignments. All trainees must provide some service to communities where they are attached. Candidates have to finish with a report written after their engagement into research work. This is considered as a requirement for the award of a diploma.
