Glad Toto Day care and Nursery School officially opened in 2013, offering a very different service to that available at the time within the local area.

The nursery benefits from a safe, secure, colorful and stimulating environment, which is inviting to children, staff, parents & carers.

All toys and equipment have been carefully selected by qualified staff for their high standard of safety, they are educational and fun for learning minds and specifically chosen with this age group in mind. With child sized equipment, resources, toilets and hand basins Glad Toto will be thoughtfully for physical play, quiet & messy time etc so that all areas of learning are catered for.

Glad Toto’s Philosophy is A gradual separation process is essential for a child to achieve a successful and positive adjustment to their initial school experience.

Glad Toto Daycare and Nursery Aims and Objectives are;

  • To promote a warm and caring environment.
  • To enhance learning through play.
  • To meet the individual needs of each child and allow them the opportunity to develop to their full potential, Working in partnership with parents, carers and outside individuals.
  • To follow and work within the suggested frame work set by the Ministry of Education covering the Foundation Stage Curriculum .
  • To provide and maintain a safe, stimulating environment and offer opportunities for many new and varied experiences.
  • To put policies and procedures into practice.
  • To include everyone – staff, children, and parents into all aspects of nursery life.
  • To incorporate a range of cultures, festivals and celebrations into the curriculum.
  • To visit parents/carers and children in their own homes.
