St. Joseph’s Vocational school

St. Joseph’s Vocational school is a Private, Boarding “O” and “A” school of great standing reputation found in Mbarara town, Western Uganda. St. Joseph’s Vocational school is on the highest point on a hill called Nyamitanga, which is approximately 4km from Mbarara town Mbrara- Kabale Road. Building, Wood work, Technical Drawing and Agriculture are the main subjects at “O” Level. Other disciplines have been introduced so as to match the demands of Uganda’s education system. St. Joseph’s vocational school is registered with the ministry of education with registration number: PSS/S20/1982 and with a UNEB Centre Number: U0346.

St. Joseph’s Vocational school Mission is to train responsible leaders (To educate young catholic boys, with the aim of equipping them with Christian leadership knowledge).

St. Joseph’s Vocational school offers excellent opportunity for practical and theoretical knowledge that will ably prepare students for adult life. Every student fulfils his academic potential with teachers and students pursuing excellence in teaching and learning respectively. St. Joseph’s Vocational school facilities include an ICT laboratory, library and residence facilities.
