St. Cyprian high school (formally Bishop Cyprian High School) is a private mixed Boarding Secondary School offering both O’ and A’ level education. It is registered with the ministry of Education with center numbers of both levels.

We have a highly qualified, motivated and committed staff which inspires our students towards excellence. Our academic programme is exactly like that of our twin school – Martyrs S.S. Namugongo. We offer Arts and Sciences at O’ and A’ levels. Our school curriculum comprises of both practical and theory subjects. O’level: English Literature, English Language, French, Swahili, Luganda, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Agriculture, Mathematics, Home Economics, Geography, History, CRE, Commerce, Accounts, Fine Art, Music, Computer studies, Technical Drawing. A’level: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Agriculture, Divinity, History, Economics, Fine Art, Music.
Health: The school has got a well facilitated sickbay which can accommodate 30 students, with doctors twice a week and a nurse daily. In cases where a student’s situation worsens, we transfer him/her to Naggalama hospital. Students with special medical complications are given special attention.
Library and Classrooms: The school has a well-stocked library and well organized spacious classrooms. Full time teachers are housed in the staff quarters to enable students to easily access them. The students on the other hand have got well-furnished dormitories to accommodate them which include: – St. kizito and mother Kevin.
Laboratory: Because we leave in the information age, information technology has come to be part in every organization and so in St. Cyprian High school we have a computer laboratory with internet connectivity for our students. We also have well equipped laboratories for science practical.
Meals: We feed our students on a balanced diet. Meals served include: Posho, matooke, cassava, rice, sweet potatoes, meat, beans, peas, g-nuts, fish, porridge, milk, vegetables &fruits.
Entertainment: We have a DSTV to help in entertaining our students especially on weekends. Nature of Staff: The school is run by highly trained and well-motivated staff, seasoned and parental in approach.
We have carefully and purposefully designed life outside the class room at St. Cyprian High School. We engage our children in:
Games and Sports: Football, Netball, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Athletics, Chess, Among others, Music Dance & Drama.
Clubs and Societies: Interact, X-averian movement, Youth Alive, YCS, Region of Mary, Drama, Debating club, Writers\’ Guild, Literature Fraternity Club, Red cross, Computer club.
