Mukongoro PEAS High School is located in the Mukongoro Sub-County of Kumi District in remote, rural Eastern Uganda. The school was opened in February 2013, making it one of the four schools opened through the continued partnership between PEAS (Promoting Equality in African Schools) and Ark (Absolute Return for Kids) last year.
[related_posts]Despite being open for just over 3 years, Mukongoro PEAS High School has one of our highest student populations in Eastern Uganda with 650 local children now able to make use of the new facilities. With such encouraging student figures coming from just the first year of being open, there is a great reason to believe that Mukongoro PEAS High School will become the place of learning and inspiration for many thousands of local children in years to come.
