Mbuye Farm School is a mixed secondary and vocational school located at Lusolo LC 1 village, 2 km off Lwanda trading centre on Kyotera-Rakai road, Lwanda sub-county, Kooki County in Rakai District.

[related_posts]History: Mbuye Farm School started operating in 1987 and has an enrolment of more than 650 students. Mbuye Farm School deals with general education but also specializes in agriculture and animal husbandry. Further, the students have the option to take practical lessons in building and concrete practice, carpentry and joinery, welding, tailoring and cutting. Mbuye Farm School also has a diploma programme with accreditation from Uganda Martyrs University and its awards are fully recognized and comparable to those other of public high institutions of learning.

Mbuye-FarmMbuye-FarmAcademics: In the year 2000, the Government of Uganda formulated a plan to modernize agriculture (PMA) as a means towards poverty eradication. In order to realize PMA goals, government identified intervention areas to be research and technology, agricultural advisory services, rural finance, agro-processing and marketing, agricultural education, sustainable resource management, and supportive physical infrastructure. Mbuye Farm School Diploma Program was therefore born in 2006 with the approval of accreditation from Uganda Martyrs University. This means that it meets all the standards for delivering quality education and its awards are fully recognized and comparable to those other of public high institution of learning.
