It’s both O’ and A’ level i.e. (S1 – S4) IGCSE and (S5 – S6) GCE. It is located on a serene valley away from the commotion of town but well within range of the benefits of the capital city.The school is a privately financed institution situated at Nsangi 16 KM onKampala – Masaka highway.

The school provides a duo-curriculum programme based on the local UNEB and the international Cambridge (IGCSE/GCE) syllabi. The students may choose to do either Cambridge (IGCSE) or UNEB syllabi.
The Cambridge programme runs a northern hemisphere timetable with final CIE examinations in May/June for both IGSCE (O’ Level) and GCE (A’level), and in October/November for the GCE (AS level).
The local UNEB programme runs a southern hemisphere timetable with final examinations in October/November for O’ level and November/December for A’ level.
At O’ level, subjects taught include; Maths, English language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, English literature, Commerce, Accounts, Swahili, Computer Studies/IT, Economics, Business Studies, Physical Education and Political Education.
Those in A’ level study; Economics, Geography, History, Religious Studies, Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Swahili, Fine Art, Sociology, Business Studies, General paper, General Studies and Information Technology.
Hana Mixed School gives extra academic hours to those students with special academic problems in order to allow them the opportunity to move along with their fellow students in similar classes.
Our curriculum is distinctive in its breadth and academic rigour. There is also a strong emphasis on sciences, taught by specialist teachers throughout the school. This enables us to achieve an excellent track record of students achieving top grades in local/international examinations and successfully securing places at their first choice universities.

Fees structure We have a unique fees structure affordable to all parents. This covers all school activities through out the term. In case of any other additional fees, parents and students will be given prior notice.

Extracurricular activities We seek to train students in a wide range of sports so that they discover what they enjoy, learn about teamwork and taste competitions through inter-house and inter-school matches at all age levels and varied levels of ability.
We emphasize personal fitness, self-reliance and the value of a balanced approach to health throughout life. The school is endowed with a variety of games and sports which include; football, Basketball, Pool table, Netball, Table tennis, Volley ball, Swimming, Badminton, Mind gameslike chess and scrabble, Darts etc. We balance elite training for those with particular sporting talent with an inclusive approach that allows students of all abilities to find at least one sporting activity that they can enjoy.
