Bishop McAllister College Kyogyera is a private mixed school that was founded by the Anglican Diocese of West Ankole in 1983. It offers “O” and “A” level education and also recently started a primary section that is Bishop McAllister Anglican Seminary.
Bishop McAllister College Kyogyera is an institution built essentially on solid Christian principles with a view to boosting the growth and expansion of God’s Kingdom through imparting spiritual values and knowledge.

They continue to succeed both at “O” and “A” levels and they have some of students who have joined universities have graduated with top grades upon which they have been retained to lecture in those universities.
Academics
Bishop McAllister’s primary section has already made a mark on the academic scene with instant success.
The pioneer class of thirteen pupils who sat their Uganda National Examinations Board Primary Leaving Examinations in November 2011 passed with impressive marks. All bar one passed in Division One.
The subjects at “O” level Include: Physics, Geography, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Kiswahili, Commerce, Literature in English, History, Christian Religious Education, English, Agriculture, Computer studies, Physical Education and Fine Art.
At “A” level the school offers: Physics, Economics, Mathematics, Geography, Entrepreneurship Education, Fine Art, Christian Religious Education, Literature in English, General paper, History and Kiswahili.
The school has an array of exciting co-curricular activities for our students but most notably, our reputation has soared because of football. We have become an emblem of football excellence in our region.

In 2006, the school team finished as runners-up in the national Copa Coca- Cola post primary football championship and further went to represent Uganda in the East Africa secondary schools tournament in Dar-es- Salaam (Tanzania) where we finished as semi- finalists.
The school also has a Brass band, Netball team, a vibrant Music Dance and Drama club, Scripture Union fellowships, debates, athletics to mention but a few.
